The NY Singer/Songwriter Sessions is designed to enable up and coming artists access to some of New York’s best known venues. Bringing together original talent from all around the country, artists collaborate and perform on these stages. Founded by Larry Oakes, The Sessions provide aspiring singers and songwriters with opportunities not normally available.

Larry has a rich musical history. A former live session player for bands including Bad Company, Foreigner and The Derek Trucks Band, he continues to be involved in the New York music scene as a producer and promoter.
